Halvah is a dense confectionary made of sesame and honey popular in the Middle East, parts of Africa and the Jewish diaspora. The outer layer of crispy almonds really complements the creamy sweet halvah interior.

These are amazing but too big. I have to break them in half. Would prefer smaller pieces and more of them. But eye-poppingly delish. I can't get halvah around here and have missed it.
