Give your gourmet kitchen a wholesome, nutty boost with pure walnut oil. Wonderful to cook with, walnut oil is also packed with healthy fats and antioxidants. What a way to dress an already healthy salad or drizzle some deep, wintry flavor into a warm vegetable soup! Find out what happens when you work walnut oil into your healthy kitchen.
Health Benefits of Walnut Oil
Vital vitamins: Walnuts are significantly packed with vitamin C as well as skin-boosting vitamin E, B-1, B-2 and B-3 and niacin, which is good for brain health.
Awesome omega-3s: Just like the nuts themselves, walnut oil is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acid, one of the healthiest fats food can offer! Omega-3 fatty acids help lower unhealthy triglycerides in the blood, can help regulate mood and ward off depression and help healthy brain function including focus and memory retention.
Mineral master: Walnut oil is a good source of healthy minerals such as calcium, selenium, phosphorus, magnesium, zinc and iron. Whoa! That’s a lot of minerals. As you may know, calcium is key for good bone health, while zinc boosts the immune system and selenium is an all-around superstar mineral that contributes to healthy hair and skin and more.
Cooking with Walnut Oil
Walnut oil has an undeniably rich and nutty flavor which makes it nice to pair with fish and meats, pastas and salads as well as with sweets. When heated, walnut oil can become more bitter in taste, so it’s best to add walnut oil to already cooked or room-temperature food, rather than as a standard, all-purpose cooking oil.
Walnut oil is wonderful drizzled over salads, especially ones that contain walnuts! Brush it over freshly grilled breast of chicken or filet of fish or toss it into a wintry pasta dish or pesto sauce. In baked desserts made with nuts, a dash of walnut oil will sharpen the nutty flavor.

Using walnut oil is a health choice for me. I chose it over the black walnut oil due to common walnut and English walnuts having the edge over black walnuts in terms of health. I'm a bit challenged in terms of sight, so, being able to order this on your website and having it delivered at a price I could afford makes me very happy! So much easier than me trying to get to a grocery store and navigating through the aisles and then through checkout!
